New Belgium Mothership Wit

New Belgium’s Mothership Wit is a good example of a Belgian White Ale, brewed in the traditional style with coriander and orange peel.  It is one of two Belgian Whites brewed by New Belgium, the other being Sunshine Wheat.  The Mothership Wit is a USDA Certified Organic Beer, and unlike Sunshine Wheat is not filtered, which gives Mothership Wit a slightly more complex flavor.  Like many White Ales, the Mothership Wit is light, fruity, and easy to drink.  While not my personal favorite White Ale, it is often more available and affordable (~$6.49-$7.99 per six pack) than other white ales such as Hoegaarden (~$8.50-$9.50 per six pack) or Blanche de Bruxelles (~$8.00 for 4).

Ok, not sure it’s a 95, given I just had the blanc de brussels or whatever next to it, but i suppose for the price it should get a boost. not a bad beer.
