Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc

I wrote a quick post back in December about a really terrific New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc I served at my holiday party. Well it turns out they’re all that good. Since that post I’ve gone out of my way to buy that wine from the Marlborough region of NZ. What is most striking about this wine is that they all carry such a crisp zip and are supported by grapefruit flavors. Without fail, they all taste great.

This Kim Crawford I picked up at Costco is simply delicious. Grapefruit and tarragon balance each other well and make a versatile wine. I had a few sips with spicy salsa. It controlled the hot factor but didn’t mellow the taste. Similarly I had a few white chocolate chip morsels with the next sip and the citrus picked up the chocolate flavor well.

This has become my new go-to white.
